Saturation Process System Project

Neenah, WI

Industry: Pulp and Paper

Project Scope

The Owner and six European suppliers wanted the coordination and installation of a new Saturation Process System to be handled by one contractor to ensure that all six process systems would be installed correctly and in the most efficient order. Once the project was completed, the new systems would work as one. They turned to CR Meyer for those services. CR Meyer’s team consisting of a project manager, site superintendent and installation crews, worked through customs issues, language barriers, understanding European equipment drawings, the six different systems, and local regulations, to deliver a successful project.

A unique challenge for CR Meyer was the site conditions during building erection and equipment delivery. The installation of the equipment occurred during the winter months in a building that was being erected during the process. CR Meyer built a landing zone for the equipment to be unloaded onto and transferred into the building.
