Line Replacement Project – New Pumping Stations

Industry: Oil and Gas

Project Scope

In order to meet current and future crude oil transportation needs, two Michigan pumping stations needed to be replaced. This pipeline is an important part of the region’s energy infrastructure, providing a secure and reliable supply of crude oil to a number of regional refineries.

CR Meyer installed the two new pumping stations in the Michigan area. The project included:  a concrete foundation installation for the new building and equipment; structural steel supports and platform installation; new pre-engineered metal buildings; installation of all pumps and associated pump station equipment; complete piping installation including all hydrostatic pressure testing and pipe coatings; and electrical installation for the facility.

Project Stats

  • CR Meyer fabricated pipe in our pipe fabrication facility in Kaukauna, WI
The quality of work and management helped these start-ups set a new benchmark for the machines. CR Meyer demonstrated their ability to be the general contractor of major installations by quickly resolving any subcontractor trades or billing issues and coordinating multiple disciplines in a limited work space.
