Paper Machine Installation Project

Project Scope

CR Meyer installed a 246 inch, 1,100 TPD Corrugating Medium, Linerboard Paper Machine which included the following: twin wire forming section and couch pulper; press and press pulper; five section pre-dryer and broke conveyor; Size Press (Coater) and pulper; three section after-dryer and broke conveyor; calender, reel and pulper; winder and pulper; roll handling including mini-slat conveyors, strapper and lowerator/upender; and all associated walkways and fabric/felt change equipment.

The project involved the installation and alignment of 1,000 feet of pre-drilled and tapped machine sole plates, 47 machine drives, as well as unloading and marshaling of 320 sea containers.
