Project Scope

The Owners’ existing paper machine was in need of a major rebuild, in order to meet their client’s needs. By choosing CR Meyer, the Owner had confidence that the project would be completed on-time, minimizing their downtime so as to be back to full production as quick as possible. The Rebuild included site preparation, building demolition, utility and rail spur relocation, a new shoe press, reel and dryer section modifications, construction of a 55′ x 380′ addition to the operating mill with a full basement and two mezzanines, installation of a Metso off machine coater with two associated crane systems, installation of finishing equipment including a winder, roll conveyor and roll wrapper.
