Steve retired after 34 years with CR Meyer!
Steve’s first job was a millwright 34 years ago pouring concrete at the Niagara Paper Mill in Niagara, Wisconsin after some supercalenders were removed. He worked as a millwright, then a millwright superintendent until 2003. Steve was enlisted in the U.S. Army from 1982-1986 and the Army reserves in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan from 1987 thru 2004. From April 2003 thru April 2004, he and his bridging company with the Army Reserves were deployed to Baqubah, Iraq, 31 miles from Baghdad. Steve has been a Field Personnel Coordinator at the Escanaba, MI office since 2005 and is retiring October 1, with his last official day at work on Monday, September 23.
We acknowledge Steve and his hard work and dedication to CR Meyer for 34 years, we thank him for his service and wish him the very best in retirement!
