It is our pleasure to announce that Dave Matz retired from CR Meyer on June 30th.  Dave started employment with us on June 7, 1987 and was a Project Designer as part of our Design-Build team in Oshkosh, WI.

Dave said, “Time flies when you stay busy.  I’ve seen a lot of changes in the design world over the past 45 years, from drafting with parallel rule and triangles to 3D modeling.  3D modeling is now offering the client, as well as all those involved, design images of the project in 3D –  what a difference!  As a Project Designer, I developed working relationships with many people, a few offering some interesting design challenges.  The enjoyment of seeing something go from a thought in your mind to something existing in the real world, is unbelievable. 

In retirement, I hope to leave the stress of work behind, and simply enjoy a more relaxing lifestyle.”
